ChatEzzy is designed with privacy at its core. Because our extension acts entirely as a local interface connecting you directly to third-party AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.):

• We do not collect, read, store, or transmit your chat histories, prompts, or AI responses.
• We do not collect or transmit your login credentials, API keys, or session cookies.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

2. Information We Collect

To improve the extension, we collect minimal, anonymized usage data:

• Anonymous Analytics: We use Google Analytics (via the Google Measurement Protocol) to track basic, anonymous usage metrics such as page views (e.g., when you open the Dashboard). This data is completely unlinked from your personal identity and contains no chat content.
• Local Storage: Your preferences (such as selected AI platforms and custom URLs) are saved strictly locally on your own device using Chrome's localStorage and chrome.storage. We do not have access to this data.

3. Third-Party Platforms

When you use ChatEzzy, your prompts and inputs are sent directly from your browser to the respective third-party AI platforms (like OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). Your interactions with these models are governed exclusively by their respective Privacy Policies and Terms of Service. We are not responsible for how these third parties handle your data.

4. Permissions Used

Our extension requests specific browser permissions solely to function:

• Storage: To save your UI preferences and selected AI layout locally.
• Scripting / Tabs / WebNavigation: To properly inject the chat interfaces and share context between tabs seamlessly.
• Declarative Net Request: To ensure the AI iframes load correctly by managing cross-origin headers locally.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
